Eastern Music Journal considers collaborations that fit its attentive approach to music, listening and cultural context. A clear description of the proposal helps us assess whether it belongs alongside our editorial work.

Possible collaborations

We may consider partner placements, clearly identified features or other relevant collaborations connected to music, instruments, listening and cultural learning. We assess each proposal for subject fit, transparency and the experience it offers readers.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Partner-supported material is labelled plainly. Advertising or partner links are kept recognisable as such, and collaboration does not give a partner control over independent editorial decisions. We do not accept material that disguises promotion as an unaffiliated recommendation.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the organisation or project name, the kind of placement or collaboration proposed and how it relates to the publication. A proposal is an invitation to consider the idea, not a promise of publication.
